Whether you are seeking employment, have special needs that require door-to-door transportation, CATA is here to assist you. Medical Assistance Transportation (MATP)
The Medical Assistance Transportation Program, also known as MATP, provides transportation to medical appointments for Medical Assistance recipients who do not have transportation available to them. The individual’s county of residence will provide the type of transportation that is the least expensive while still meeting their needs. Human Service Development Fund
The Human Service Development Fund (HSDF) program is sponsored by a grant from the Crawford County Human Services Department. The HSDF program provides FREE bus passes for riding the fixed route buses to persons of low income or disability that need transportation for Human Service and/or Life Skill appointment needs. You must be referred from a social service agency to qualify.
The Senior Free Transit Program is sponsored by the Bureau of Public Transportation at PennDOT. The Senior Free Transit program is open to all seniors age 65 and older. This program provides discounted door-to-door transportation or FREE rides on the fixed route buses. Applications can be mailed to you or filled out in person at the CATA office. CATA is also available upon request to come to your place of residence to help you complete the application.
The Persons with Disabilities Program (PwD) is sponsored by the Bureau of Public Transportation at PennDOT. The PwD program provides discounted door-to-door transportation for persons who either live or need to travel outside of the fixed route service area. Applications can be mailed to you or filled out in person at the CATA office. CATA is also available upon request to come to your place of residence to help you complete the application.
