CATA is pleased to announce the introduction of Compressed Natural Gas vehicles into the Meadville fixed route network. 3 Mass Transit vehicles have arrived with a new look and cleaner-burning fuel system to better serve the Meadville area residents. The introduction of CNG is part of a larger, state-wide Public-Private Partnership to bring CNG vehicles and fueling facilities to over 20 transit agencies across the Commonwealth.
The 3 CNG buses will be replacing 3 Diesel vehicles that have exceeded their useful life. The new buses operate with a 10 year, 350,000 mile life expectancy. For more information about CATA’s transition to CNG or other questions, contact us at email@example.com or on the web at www.catabus.org
