Sep 04, 2020

Green Route A and B

Crawford Area Transportation Authority has announced that beginning Tuesday, September 8th, the Meadville Green Route will begin running in two half hour routes (A & B) instead of the former 45 minute loop. This change provides opportunity for individuals to more directly get to their destination, for all routes to meet at the transfer point at the same time, and for the route to cover additional areas. Route A will be a modified express to Vernon Township commercial area (i.e. Walmart, Vernon Place) and Bessemer Street. Route B will service stops at Park Ave Plaza, Giant Eagle, etc. and Park Avenue.

From Noon-3:00pm Monday-Friday, CATA will run 2 Green buses operating opposite each other to facilitate travel during the busiest time of the day. The stop on Rt. 19 across from the Movies/Timbercreek Entrance will be moved to the Movies Parking Lot. Request stops on the Green Route A include: Dr. Molli’s at Griffin Motors, Social Security Office, Davita Dialysis in Park Avenue Plaza, the VA Clinic, and Barco Oncology. Request Stops for the Driver License Center and Dollar Tree/Crawford Landing will be moved to the Conneaut Lake Route and only offered on Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

The full timetable and route schedule can be found at the CATA office, 214 Pine Street, on the buses or at www.catabus.org. For more information call 336-5600.
