Invitation for Bid: Mind Body Wellness Bus Pull-off and Shelter.



The Crawford Area Transportation Authority (CATA) will receive bids for the construction of a public transit bus stop at Mind-Body Wellness, (18201 Conneaut Lake Road, Meadville, PA, 16335) until 2:00 P.M. EDT, on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 when a public bid opening will occur. All bids must be emailed in PDF form to chart@catabus.org prior to this date and time to be considered. Requests for the complete bid package must be made via email to chart@catabus.org. The project includes construction of a bus pull-off, concrete shelter pad and bus shelter installation. Exact time frame for this project is determined by the bidder, with the understanding that promptness of work and time spent on the project will be one of the determining factors for awarding this contract. A pre-bid meeting will not be conducted. Bidders are urged to visit the site prior to submitting their bid. All requests for clarification regarding this IFB are to be submitted via email to Collin Hart, Finance and Procurement Coordinator at CATA, chart@catabus.org, before May 2, 2025. Answers to clarification requests received will be sent by May 7 to all package holders. This is a PA Prevailing Wage project, and no less than the minimum salaries and wages observed by PA Prevailing Wage must be paid in this project; and that the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap.

Federal Procurement Clauses:  The following federal procurement clauses apply to vendors providing goods and/or services to CATA. Vendors are required to accept notification of these clauses when purchases are made based on the value of the contract.
