CATA will become the transportation subcontractor for Medical
Assistance Transportation Program under Forest County
effective July 1, 2026

CATA is a multi-county municipal transportation authority which currently oversees shared ride operations in Crawford, Venango and Clarion Counties.
The transportation service will continue to operate as Forest County Transportation (FCT) using the same phone numbers, drivers and vehicles.

Welcome Packet
The Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) is a transportation service available to Medical Assistance consumers in Forest County. MATP is funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. In Forest County, the MATP Program is run by Forest County Transportation through a contract with CATA.
